This page describes how to use Jazz Expenses as a money manager.

Where is 'my' money?

Most people have multiple accounts for their money. These include:

• Bank accounts for saving, checking, retirement saving, mortgage, loans
• Credit Cards
• Cash in my wallet (and maybe my mattress too!)

It is easy to believe that you have lots of money to buy whatever you want, but that is not the case.

How do you spend your money?

It is really easy to spend money and really hard to save money.  That is why people have budgets.  A budget can be as simple as no credit, no checks, just spend cash. Give yourself a fixed amount per week for spending. When that money is gone, you have to wait for the next week to continue spending.
